We pulled permit and began by stripping a massive attic of storage, furnace, wiring, ductwork and all insulation. Then we sistered up every 2x6 ceiling joist with a 2x10 joist. After that we finished the attic with a large bedroom with gable dormer, a large full bath with soaking tub and a large room for storage (the house is on a lake and is on a slab). In addition, we renovated the main floor master suite with full bath and another full bath, installed new porcelain tile in the kitchen with in-floor heat and then solid hardwood flooring pretty much everywhere. The list goes on. This is a classic Whole-House remodel.
